Beta Test Engagement [6]
Excellent engagement from companies to Beta Test software, including a signed letter of intent from Ben Thorpe, Design and Manufacturing Manager at Naiad Aqua Systems, promising to commence a beta test once we have “finalised development of the necessary suite of features”. We have also continued conversations with Richard Morris (Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead @ Bromford Industries), and Thomas Milton (Co-Founder @ Amodo Design) regarding beta-testing the product.
Internal effio Review [7]
An Internal review of the software was organised by Lionel Gousset at CMR surgical into how a software such as effio would be implemented in their company. CMR surgical are the largest UK based medical robotics firm and have a high proportion of injection moulding and CNC machining.The instrument and consumables team showed interest in beta testing the product once it has launched.
Sample Part Testing [8]
Kartal Cagatay, Systems Engineer at Osler Diagnostics offered to give us a new part that he had designed which may have inbuilt manufacturability problems, so that we could test on our software and share the results with him, in particular how fast we catch can catch issues with his part. Kyle Shropshire also provided some confidential production parts for us to benchmark on.

Interest from Blue garage, a UK makerspace dedicated to start-ups, who allowed us to display posters in the space directing users to our landing page, as well as send a post with our landing page in their monthly newsletter to 500 people. We have also spoken with the COO of Scale Space about companies situated there who could benefit from our product.

Kickstart Global Programme [1]
effio was accepted into the Kickstart Global Programme, a 20-week incubator and the UK’s largest student-led cross-university incubator programme, as one of 43 accepted applicants from over 1000 submitted. The programme provided weekly programme meetings to network and gain insights as well as the opportunity to pitch effio to investors in 3 weeks time. In addition, the programme offered exclusive benefits, including £10,000 worth of AWS (Amazon Web services) credits

EWOR Ideation Fellowship [2]
effio progressed to the last round of EWOR Ideation fellowship, an entrepreneurship program focused on validating startup ideas through structured mentorship and practical innovation frameworks. We got this far, despite entering 3 weeks after settling on the idea, demonstrating the strength of the team and ability to effectively demonstrate the problem to others.

Google Cloud Mentorship [4]
Mehdi Koubaa, a Google cloud consultant focussed on startups Mentor at Google cloud for startups showed strong interest in the product offering of effio and has offered to act as a mentor / advisor to the team.
